Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Ryder is the youngest sister of Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. When Ryder was only seven her family moved into Mendocino County California. They was in a house that didn't have electricity. Ryder was a voracious reading book because there was no TV. When she turned 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In 1986, she got her first role on the big screen in the film Lucas at just fifteen years old. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder hoped the acting profession would change the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately that didn't come to be. But she pushed on with her goals. Her biggest break came in 1988 with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was a star in numerous films. In 1993, she was nominated twice to win Academy Awards. One of them for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence.
